		<description>Nice post. I agree that anything less than 3 ply is hope chess but being a 2000 player myself I can assure you I rarely go beyond that level. In certain critical positions it is necessary to try and in other simplified positions it is possible but it is better to rely on intuitive judgement to find those important 3 ply. It takes less energy and is less prone to error.
